P&O price drop alerts are useful once you care about a specific sailing.
They are not the same as browsing P&O offers. A deals page can show current promotions. A price alert follows the cruise you might actually book and tells you when that fare changes.
That difference matters with P&O because the line covers short Southampton breaks, family-friendly ships, Canary Islands fly-cruises, Mediterranean sailings, Caribbean departures, longer winter sun itineraries and world-cruise sectors. A price movement on Azura from Tenerife is a different decision from a price movement on Iona from Southampton.

Use this as a reminder, not a ranking. Azura dominates the current count because the tracker has a lot of fly-cruise departures from Tenerife and Valletta. Iona and Arvia are often part of the Southampton family-holiday comparison. Aurora and Arcadia can be a different sort of shortlist because ship atmosphere, itinerary length and cabin choice matter more than the cheapest fare.
A useful alert follows the P&O ship and date that fit your trip, not whichever P&O fare happens to move.

That tells you two things.
