Methodology

How these numbers are built

Figures come from live Cruise Prices tracking, not a survey or a press release. We include upcoming sailings that depart a US port and are not marked sold out, collapse duplicate port spellings to one canonical port, and require a minimum sample before a port is listed.

FAQ

How much does a US cruise cost per night?
Across every tracked upcoming US-departing sailing, the median works out at about £96 per night. Cost per night varies by departure port, ship and how far ahead you book, which is why this report benchmarks each port separately rather than quoting one blended average.
Which US cruise port is cheapest?
Right now Long Beach has the lowest median nightly cost of the tracked US ports. Cheapest headline fare and cheapest per night are different questions: a short sailing can have a low total fare but a high nightly cost, so the report shows both.
Why are the fares shown in pounds?
Cruise Prices is built for UK shoppers, so US-dollar fares are converted to pounds at a daily exchange rate. That lets you compare a US fly-cruise against a UK-departure sailing on the same scale, before adding flights.
How current is this report?
The tables are generated from live tracked data each time the page loads, using upcoming sailings that are not marked sold out. It reflects current fares, not a historical snapshot.
